Nestled at an elevation of 5600 feet against the stunning backdrop of the Zabarwan mountain range and overlooking the tranquil Dal Lake in Siraj Bagh, this expansive garden spans approximately 30 hectares and is home to an impressive 1.7 million tulip plants, including 73 captivating species, five of which were introduced in 2024.
Established in 2007 to promote floriculture and tourism in the Kashmir Valley, the garden features terraced landscapes offering panoramic views of Dal Lake. Each spring, the garden comes alive with a riot of colors, including tulips sourced from the renowned Keukenhof gardens of Amsterdam, along with other exquisite flower species such as Daffodils, Hyacinths, Roses, Ranunculi, Muscaria, and Iris, creating an enchanting spectacle for visitors from around the world.
