Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Jammu
- Arrive in Jammu. Visit Raghunath Temple, Ranbireshwar Temple, and Bahu Fort & Garden.
- If time permits, explore the local markets.
- Overnight stay in Jammu.
Day 2: Jammu to Pahalgam (Approx. 7 hrs)
- Early morning drive to Pahalgam, known as the "Valley of Shepherds."
- Visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari (private taxis needed beyond Pahalgam town).
- Evening by the Lidder River.
- Overnight stay in Pahalgam.
Day 3: Pahalgam to Srinagar (Approx. 4 hrs)
- Depart for Srinagar, stopping at Avantipur Ruins en route.
- Check-in to a houseboat/hotel.
- Enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake.
- Visit Mughal Gardens (Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, Chashme Shahi).
- Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 4: Gulmarg Day Trip (Approx. 2 hrs one way)
- Take the Gondola ride up to Apharwat Peak.

Day 6: Srinagar Local & Doodhpathri Excursion (Approx. 2 hrs one way)
- Visit Hazratbal Shrine and Shankaracharya Temple.
- Drive to Doodhpathri, an offbeat scenic meadow.
- Return to Srinagar by evening.
Day 7: Leisure Day in Srinagar
- Explore the floating market in Dal Lake (early morning).
- Visit Pari Mahal and shop at Lal Chowk for handicrafts and dry fruits.
- Relax in a houseboat for a traditional Kashmiri experience.
Day 8: Srinagar to Katra (Approx. 8 hrs)
- Travel to Katra, check in to a hotel.
- Evening at leisure or visit Dera Baba Banda (optional).
- Overnight stay in Katra.
Day 9: Vaishno Devi Yatra
- Begin early morning trek or pony ride to Vaishno Devi Shrine (13 km one way).
- Optionally visit Bhairavnath Temple.
- Return to Katra by evening for rest.
Day 10: Departure from Jammu
- Drive to Jammu Airport/Railway Station for departure.
