Day 01: Transfer to Lataguri & Jungle Safari

Upon arrival at the New Mal Junction Railway Station/NJP Station/Bagdogra Airport ,transfer to the resort/hotel at Lataguri. The resort/hotel in the Gorumara National Park to give you a feeling of being either in the forest or in a tea garden. After Lunch, you will be taken to an exclusive car safari to Gorumara National Park from Lataguri. The journey passes through the deep forests of Gorumara - the natural habitat for Rhinoceros, Elephants, Leopard, bison and many other species of birds and reptiles.One may find a leopard licking its paw leisurely on a tree branch or a herd of spotted deer suddenly disappeared into the thick forests at the sound of your vehicle. Further you will be taken to the Rhino Point - a Watch Tower in the core area of the national park. From here you can get a vast panoramic view of the Gorumara grassland. There is a salt pit just at the base of the tower, where the animals regularly come to taste the salt. We also take you to the Jatraprasad Watch Tower few kilometers further to Rhino Point. The forest here is deeper and the watch tower provides an excellent view of the Grassland with the Murti and Jaldhaka River flowing through it. This is an ideal place for seeing the wild elephant and Indian bison. After the thrilling Jungle Safari we will come back to the Resort/Hotel. Overnight at Lataguri/Gorumara National Park [ If your arrival time is at late afternoon or evening then the Jungle Safari at the Gorumara National Park will be arranged in the early morning or in the afternoon of the next day of this Lava Lolegaon and Dooars Tour ]

Day 02: Sightseeing at Jhalong, Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola, Murti

After breakfast you will be taken for an excursion to some of the alluring hamlets of Dooars such as Jhalong, Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola and Murti. You will be first driven to Samsing, a village known for providing solace to the distressed soul. it is nestled in the bank of river Murti and equipped with a vast stretch of tea gardens. Next, proceed to Suntalekhola, another pristine hamlet nearby. It is also the base of visiting Neora Valley National park. After exploring Suntalekhola, visit Jhalong near Indo-Bhutan Border to see its Hydro Electricity project on River Jaldhaka and Bindu to witness and enjoy the view of cardamom plantation and a tranquil ambience for which Dooars is usually known for. Visit Murti on the way back to the resort at Lataguri. Stroll around the fascinating hamlet and have a refreshing bath in the meandering Murti River. After relishing the beauty of Muri River, return to your resort. Overnight at Lataguri/Gorumara National Park

Day 03: Lataguri - Lava/Kolakham

Today, in this Dooars Neora Valley Tour, you will be transferred to Lava,a serene misty hamlet in the Kalimpong sub division Lava is situated at an altitude of 2100m, and presents a landscape with ultimate splendor of nature that can never be captured by word. The conifer forests under the worm glow of sun with colorful birds flying and singing everywhere the whole surrounding will enthrall you to a new dimension.Lava is the gateway of Neora Valley National Park, a virgin, unexplored terrain in the Himalayas. The roads towards Lava is the most exciting one as you will be driven through the thickly wooded forest of Dooars. Reach your resort at Lava/Kolakham after covering approx 100 km of road distance within 4 hours. Check in at Lava/Kolakham. Spend a relaxed evening in the mystique landscape.

Day 04: Sightseeing & Lolegaon Transfer

After breakfast you will be escorted to a sightseeing trip to Kolakham and Neora Valley National Park. It will be a memorable journey through the winding road of Himalaya from Lava to Neora Valley National Park. From Lava, it will take around 15 minutes to cover an approximate road distance of 5km. Neora Valley National Park is the land of elegant Red Panda in the pristine undisturbed natural habitat with rugged inaccessible hilly terrain. The rich flora and fauna of Neora Valley National Park makes it a paradise for nature and wildlife photography. You can also capture the captivating panorama of the Kanchendzonga range, which lies in the backdrop of this national park. Neora Valley National Park is also a paradise for bird watchers. There are about 265 species of birds in this park. It is the best place to spot the rare species Rusty Bellied Shortwing Myanahs, Swallows, Flycatchers and Parakeets are common. Next visit Changi Falls - Changi, Changey, or Chaney falls just 3 km jeep drive, and 1.5 km walk down through nicely built staircases to take you to the most beautiful falls in the deep forest of Darjeeling Hills. It is the only falls in the deep forest that can be reached by tourists by jeep ride and a walk down to around 250 stairs. The dense forest of Neora Valley is full of rare tropical birds like Wagtail, Minivet, and others who’s chirping adds melody to your visit along with making it a memorable. Further drive to Lolegaon - an important offbeat destination in Kalimpong hills. It is a small Lepcha village situated at an altitude of 1850M in the midst of undulating slopes adorned with towering Dhupi and Cypress trees. Loleygaon is the place of ethereal wilderness. Glittering Kanchendzonga at dawn or sensational sunrise and sunset from Jhandi Dara will leave you spellbound. Visit to the Heritage Forest of Lolegaon is a must to get a feel of the exquisite wealth nature has showered here. The unique 'Canopy Walk'(a 180-meters long hanging tree-top bridge that goes through the dense jungle) over the century old mossy Oak and Cypress in the Heritage Forest is a thrilling experience.At the center of the village there is a flat land opposite to the Eco-Park where you can relax and observe the nature.Visit Lolegaon Viewpoint which offers a panoramic view of Neora Valley National Park and Mt Kanchenjunga.

Day 05: Lolegaon Sightseeing and Transfer to NJP, Siliguri or Bagdogra Airport

Wake up early for an excursion to the Jhandi Dara Sunrise Point which offers spectacular views of the snow-capped mountain peaks and lush environs. From here, you can behold captivating vistas of the sun rising behind the lofty Mount Khangchendzonga. You will be truly mesmerised by the region’s stunning landscape. Besides, the viewpoint is a perfect retreat for nature lovers and bird watchers. Boasting of lush and mountainous environs, the Jhandi Dara Sunrise Point offers ample opportunities for capturing really amazing photographs, especially at the time of sunrise. Later in the day prepare for a returning journey. Check out from the hotel and proceed to Bagdogra Airport, Siliguri or NJP. Upon reaching, your Lava Lolegaon Trip will be ended.
