Day 01: Arrival and Transfer to Jaigaon/Phuentsholing (Bhutan)

On the first day of your 15 Days Sikkim Darjeeling Bhutan Tour Package after arrival at N.J.P Rly. Station / IXB Bagdogra airport you will be received by SetMyTrip's Professional representative, who will be waiting outside for a traditional well come and proceed for Phuentsholing (980 ft.), through the lush green as well as the most beautiful Tea garden in Dooars.On arrival at Phuentsholing, the most rapidly growing town in Bhutan check in at your hotel. Overnight stay in Phuentsholing

Day 02: Phuentsholing to Thimphu

15 Days Sikkim Darjeeling Bhutan Tour Package

After breakfast proceeds to Thimphu(7875 ft./170km/7 hours). And after a short drive visits Kharbandi Gompa to get a breathtaking view of Phuentsholing and also the Indian plains. Being nature-loving and friendly with the Guest we stop our journey on the way from time to time to see & feel the Bhutan Himalayan scenery. We will take a lunch break and again start our journey on the way we will reach the highest point of about 2800m/9,185ft. Before reaching Thimphu again we will stop to visit Simtokha Dzong. On arrival at Thimphu check in at the hotel & you will be taken care of by our hotel’s premium hospitality. Overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 03: Thimphu to Dochula Pass and Transfer to Punakha (100 Kms/4 Hrs)

On the tenth day of your 15 Days Sikkim Darjeeling Bhutan Tour Package after an early breakfast, drive up to Dochu-la pass (3,088m/ 10,130 ft) to take in the view and admire the Chorten, mani wall, and prayer flags which decorate the highest point on the road - If skies are clear, the following peaks can be seen from this pass Masaganang (7158 meters), Tsendagang (6960 meters), Terrigang (7060 meters), Jejegangphugang (7158 meters), Kangphugang (7170 meters ), Zong Huang (7060 meters), etc - finally Gangkar Puensum, the highest peak in Bhutan at 7497 meters - From the pass, the road curls its way down into the relative lowlands of the Punakha Valley. Before Thimphu was made the permanent capital of Bhutan. In Punakha, you also visit Punakha Dzong: beautiful Punakha Dzong(known as the “the palace of great happiness”), located at the confluence of the Pho Chhu (father) and Mo Chhu (mother) rivers in the Punakha–Wangdue valley. the city’s dzong is one of the most picturesque of all Bhutan’s ancient fortresses The dzong is joined to the mainland by an arched wooden bridge and contains many precious relics from the days when successive kings reigned the kingdom from this valley. Suspension Bridge - Visit the hidden treasure of Punakha Valley, the longest suspension bridge over River Mo. Wangdue – After crossing the Fo-Chu-Mo-Chu river, drive along the Wangdue Phradong and visit the newly developed small beautiful town, Bazo Town in Wangdue. Overnight stay in Punakha.

Day 04 : Punakha to Paro /4 Hrs

In the morning, after breakfast, start for Paro, the picturesque town in Bhutanenroute Simtokha Dzong is a small dzong, Built-in 1629 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, who unified Bhutan, the dzong is the first of its kind built in Bhutan. An important historical monument and former Buddhist monastery, today it houses one of the premier Dzongkha language learning institutes. National Museum of Bhutan: Situated right above Rinpung Dzong in Paro, the National Museum of Bhutan is a house that showcases Bhutan’s culture. Built in 1968, the museum stands inside the ancient Ta-dzong building. The museum houses the collection of finest specimens of Bhutanese culture and art and its highlights are paintings and some bronze statues, which are simply masterpieces. The items are demonstrated in large galleries and you can get to know a lot about Bhutan’s art and culture from these objects. Ta Dzong - Ta Dzong, once a watchtower, was built to defend Rinpung Dzong during the inter-valley wars of the 17th century, Ta Dzong was inaugurated as Bhutan's National Museum in 1968. Rinpung Dzong - Built in 1646 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the first spiritual and temporal ruler of Bhutan, the Dzong houses the monastic body of Paro, the office of the Dzongda (district administrative head) and Thrimpon (judge) of Paro district. The approach to the Dzong is through a traditional covered bridge called Nemi Zam. Nya Mey Zam Bridge - "The Bridge with No Fish " is the bridge that connects Paro Town to Dzong. It is one of the finest specimens in Bhutan and local believes if one sees a fish in the river, it is an ill omen. The earlier bridge which could be folded during the war was washed away by a flood in 1969. Paro Airport Viewpoint – This is the finest valley view point to look after Paro Valley and Paro Airport. This viewpoint overlooks the Paro river along with all the Dzongs and Monastery. Overnight in Paro.

Day 05: Excursion to Chele La (Pass) & Haa Valley

On the fifth day of your 15 Days Sikkim Darjeeling Bhutan Tour Package after breakfast, drive over the Chelela pass (3899 m). From the pass, a good view of the Himalayan Ranges and the valley beyond can be spotted. Then continue the drive towards Haa. Haa is made up of five counties and was closed to the outside world until 2002. There is a military camp by the Indian Army. In Haa valley, visit Wangchucklo Dzong dating back to 1915 and Lhakhang Nakpo (Black temple) is said to have been built by pigeon emanation of King Songtsen Gampo in the 7th century and Lhakhang Karpo (white temple). After the visit drives back to Paro. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 06: Paro Sightseeing and Transfer from Paro to Jaldapara/Lataguri 

Morning two hours hike to reach Taktsang monastery - Tiger's Nest - Later visit Drugyel Dzong (fortress) - The Dzong was built in 1649 by Shabdrung Nawang Namgyel to commemorate the victory of Bhutan over Tibetan Invaders in 1644 - Destroyed by fire in 1951 - Spectacular view of sacred Mountain Jumolhari is worth it - On the way back view Taktsang Monastery perched on the side of a cliff at 900 meters - Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples - National Museum popularly known to the local Bhutanese as Ta Dzong or Watch Tower - Built as WatchTower (Ta Dzong) of Paro Dzong and the Valley was renovated and converted into the National Museum in 1968.

Second Half Transfer from Paro to Jaldapara National Park, Bengal - A drive of nearly 180 kilometres, approximately 6 - 7 hours. On the way take a short stop at Chuzom, the confluence of Paro and Thimphu rivers with three different styles of Stupas adorn this confluence - Drive further through Chapcha and later take a glimpse of the famous Chukha Dam and the magnificent Vince waterfall before Gedu town - Arrive Jaldapara at Evening.Overnight Stay at Sisamara,Jaldapara National Park/Lataguri.Your Visit to Sisamara/Lataguri can be compared to a kind of zoo visit. This destination is surrounded by the undisturbed dense greenery of Jaldapara National Park. If you are lucky enough, you can spot the wild animals grazing on the other side of the river right from the balcony of your accommodation.

Day 07: Jungle Safari & Transfer to Darjeeling

On the seventh day of your 15 Days Sikkim Darjeeling Bhutan Tour Package in the morning be ready to visit South Khayerbari Nature Park. Also known as Leopard and Royal Bengal Tiger Rescue Centre, South Khayerbari is also a rehabilitation centre. Located at a distance of 18 km you will reach South Khayerbari after a 30-minute drive. You can observe the rescued animals of South Khayerbari while taking a tour in the battery-operated cars. During your South Khayerbari visit, you can also go boating in the river Torsha. Then start for a Jeep Safari (Complimentary but Subject to Availability) either in the Chilapata or in the Jaldapara Forest Range.

(Optional) A Leopard Safari, the only one of its kind in India, can also be availed in South Khayerbari Eco Park

(Optional) Early morning drive to Hollong for the thrilling Elephant Safari for which Jaldapara has been a hotspot for tourists from all over the world. This elephant safari is organized in the early morning from Hollong. It offers the exquisite beauty of the vast grassland of Jaldapara. One can sight Indian One-Horned Rhinos, Bison, Deer and Asiatic Elephants.

Second Half Drive to Darjeeling The queen of Hills..While driving towards Darjeeling check out some destinations on the way that are popular on the tourism map of West Bengal like Chapramari Wildlife Forest, Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary, Sevoke, Kalijhora etc. You will reach Darjeeling in the evening. Day 08:  Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

At about 4:00 AM drive to Tiger Hills, Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop, War Memorial – Back to hotel for breakfast and next - Tenzing Rock, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Lebong Racecourse, Ropeway, Gorkha Stadium, Gorkha handicraft, Tibetans Refugee Center, Tea garden - lunch at a hotel or on the way - Japanese Peace Pagoda, Natural History Museum, Ava Art Gallery, Lal Kothi, rock garden and Ganga Maiya Park bare sightseeing spot and can be visited as per the day's program – Sightseeing places are dynamically set depending upon the road condition and time factors – it is not possible to see all the places but the important ones are covered for the satisfaction of guests – Evening free to roam around the any of the hundred nurseries or the Local market area - Overnight stay at Darjeeling

Day 09: Darjeeling to Pelling via Namchi Chardham  

Early morning take breakfast and drive to Namchi. Drive from Darjeeling to Namchi is for 03 hours. Visit The replicas of all four Dhams made on a Hill Top which also offers a magnificent view of the surrounding valleys known as Namchi Chardham. Across the hill, you can also see a statue of Guru Padmasambhava (Samdruptse). En route visit Namchi Chardham, a Temple Complex spreads across 29 hectares of an area on top of a hill known as the Solophok Hill in Namchi South Sikkim. This temple complex is also known as Siddheswar Dham. The main Shiva Temple is 108-ft in height and atop that sits the gigantic statue of Lord Shiva which is another 87-ft tall. It sits at the highest and most commanding position on Solophok hill while facing east. Apart from this giant statue of Lord Shiva, the Replicas of Twelve Jyotirlingas along with the Four Dhams; Badrinath, Jagannath, Dwarka and Rameshwaram are also installed in the complex. Visit Samdruptse Hill; the 'Wish Fulfilling Hill'-2134 m (7000 ft). There is a giant statue of the Guru Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche); the patron saint of Sikkim who has been showering its blessings for more than 1,200 years. It is a 45 m tall statue, overlooking the whole city, and is gilded with gold that glitters when the sunlight falls over it. The hill offers the vista of the magnificent Mt. Kangchenjunga amongst the richly forested hills under the blue-painted sky. It is believed that the hill is a dormant volcano and only prayers can hold it from erupting, that is why the local monks offer their reverence and devotion to it. Reach Pelling by Evening. Overnight stay at a Hotel in Pelling.

Day 10: Pelling Local sightseeing (  Half  Day) & Gangtok Transfer

On the tenth day of your 15 Days Sikkim Darjeeling Bhutan Tour Package after breakfast at the hotel – Drive for a Full Day of Sightseeing. The routes are forested and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring. Places to visit are Rimbi  Waterfalls, Rimbi  Rock  Garden, and Khecheopalri   Lake, it is one of the holy Buddhist lakes and it is believed that any wish in front of the lake comes true - The myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and thus the water surface is always free of leaves, Khecheopalri  Monastery, Kanchenjunga  Waterfalls, Pemayangtse  Monastery, Rabdantse ruins, the scenic view from the top of the ruin of the mystic heights of Kanchendzonga ranges is something to be cherished.

Second Half transfer to Gangtok via Ravangla.En route visit Buddha Park, also known as Tathagata Tsal, which is situated near Rabong (Ravangla) in the South Sikkim district. It features a 130-foot (40 m) high statue of the Buddha as its centrepiece. The site was chosen within the larger religious complex of the Rabong Gompa (Monastery), which is itself a centuries-old place of pilgrimage. it is surrounded by lush green gardens and peaceful surroundings, and it has an ample walkway for visitors. From here, you can witness an uninterrupted view of the mountains and also Cho Djo Lake. This site is of great spiritual importance and the ambience adds a divine experience to the visitors. Nearby the park, there are also a meditation centre, museum, and Buddhist conclave. Also nearby is Ralang Monastery, a key monastery in Tibetan Buddhism. Visit Temi Tea Garden. Transfer to Gangtok. Overnight stay at Hotel in Gangtok.

Day 11 : Trip to Changu Lake and Baba Mandir

The morning after breakfast start your Day Excursion to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir nearly 40 kilometres and 2 hours drive along the Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary, home to the red panda and the blood pheasant with Rhododendron and other alpine trees along the road. This Oval Shaped Lake is situated at an elevation of 3753 meters / 12310 feet and nearly 50 feet deep - Generally covered in snow for most of the year – This lake is home to the Brahminy ducks & many migratory birds – Nearby is the sacred Baba Mandir known to be a very holy site for all. Back to Gangtok. (In case of Landslide or due to any other reasons if Tshangu Lake is closed then an alternate sightseeing will be provided)

Evening free to roam around M G Road (Mall) or local Shopping centre.

Day 12 : Transfer to Lachen from Gangtok 

Early morning breakfast. Drive 135 kilometres, 5/6 hours drive through a scenic route - Enroute Visit:-

Tashi View Point - Built by Tashi Namgyal, offering a panoramic view of Mt. Khangchendzonga.

Kabi Longstok - A historic place, located on North Sikkim Highway. This is where a treaty between Lepcha Chief Te-Kung-Tek and the Bhutia Chief They-Bum-Sar was signed.

Seven Sister Waterfalls - The name is given to this waterfall as it makes its descent in seven stages. To facilitate the tourists to savour the pristine beauty and be with nature, the Tourism Department of Sikkim has set up a waiting shed and cafeteria here.

Naga Waterfalls - The confluence of Lachen-Chu and Lachung-Chu at Chungthang. Mostly perennial, waterfalls are aplenty in this region, Bhim Nala & the Twin Waterfalls are two others one comes across en route North Sikkim Tour and the gorgeous Teesta follows you all the way.

Reach Lachen late afternoon / early evening. The snow-capped peaks, the Shingba Wildlife Sanctuary, Gurudongmar Lake, Chopta Valley, and Thangu are the major attractions of Lachen. It’s a valley surrounded by gigantic and humbling snow-peaked mountains and the starting point of Green Lake Trek. The village is cradled between stern, tall rock faces standing like guards. ts, a hamlet with very few people. Evening free to stroll and visit the Lepcha Village.

Day 13: Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake and Thangu Village & Lachung Transfer

15 Days Sikkim Darjeeling Bhutan Tour Package

On the thirteenth day of your 15 Days Sikkim Darjeeling Bhutan Tour Package after Early morning breakfast – Visit Gurudongmar Lake (55 kilometres, 2 ½  - 3 ½  hours drive) - we will drive through the high altitude valleys over 12,000 feet (Cold Desert) till Tibet / China. These valleys are generally covered with snow from December to April. Gurudongmar Lake even more is known as the Holy / Sacred Lake. Spend 1/2 Hrs.

Next. After this, we will drive back to Thangu Village (13000 feet). From October to March, the land is shrouded with a white blanket of snow. Thangu Valley begins turning into a canvas of numerous shades from May with the start of the blooming season. Thangu is acclaimed for the natural beauty of its alpine vegetation. The region is fully covered with Rhododendron forest.

Lachen to Lachung-Post Gurudongmar Trip, you will return to Lachen for your transfer to Lachung.On the way there, you will pass by Bhim Nala Waterfall and the Holy Rock at Chungthang. Arrive at Lachung and check in to the Lachung hotel.

Chopta Valley- Journey to Chopta Valley from Lachen is itself a thrilling one. The green vegetation of lower altitudes will soon give way to Alpine terrain with canonical trees. As you go further up, the trees give way to small bushes and beyond Thangu the vegetation is relatively less as you get into the Tibetan plateau. The Chopta Valley is the last green vegetation on this route. The place has got a majestic view of the snowy peaks, mountain slopes covered with pine and rhododendron forests, and grazing fields around the river meandering throughout the valley, making it an ideal place for trekkers and explorers. It is a haven for many rare species of birds and animals, which allures many birders and wildlife lovers to visit the place. Its river is well stocked for the anglers and well-flowing for the water sports adventurist

Kala Patthar- Drive further from Chopta Valley to reach Kala Patthar.The only colours that prevail at Kalapatthar, Sikkim were black and white. The whole area remains covered with snow throughout the year and amidst these snowfields, the black mountains/rocks break the monotony of Snow white colour. The temperature of the place used to lie below zero and snow exists throughout the year. This is not as high as Gurudongmar lake. So less chance of breathing problems and high altitude sickness. Children can enjoy the snow here ie. making snow idols, frolicking with snow etc

Day 14: Excursion to Yumthung Valley & Gangtok Transfer

Early morning breakfast drive towards Yumthang situated at an elevation of nearly 11800 feet – 105 kilometres and 5 ½ hours drive from Thangu. Visit the famous Hot Spring, known for its curative properties for skin diseases. Visit Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary.

Yumthang is a valley near the river Lachung Chu surrounded by mountains where the tree line ends - In the months of April-June, the valley erupts in riots of colours as Primula, Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers in full bloom along with snow-covered valley except in autumn - During winter Yumthang is sombre with snow all around and the snow clad mountains adding to the beauty. The sight of the snow-covered mountain ranges and rivers will remind you of the valleys of Switzerland.

Lachung to Gangtok, 125 kms in 5 hrs – Check out from Lachung and drive back to Gangtok (Alt 5550Ft / 1675M) via Chungthang. Check-in at a hotel by late afternoon. Free evening

Zero Point-A perfect destination for high-altitude excursions. Yumesamdong or Zero point Sikkim stands at an altitude of 15,300 feet above sea level and offers beautiful sightseeing opportunities. It is the last outpost of civilization and there is no road ahead. Owing to a higher altitude, oxygen levels there are pretty low.

The beautiful confluence of three rivers, surrounding snow-clad mountains and marvellous scenic views makes Zero Point Sikkim one of the best places to visit in India. It is one of Sikkim’s prime tourist attractions. The sight of the yaks grazing in the snow is a pleasant one. You will be completely smitten by the surrounding natural beauty.

All those people who love winters and fantasize about spending time in the snow, Zero Point is the place for you! It remains covered with snow for most of the year.

Day 15: Departure – Gangtok to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction)

On the last day of your 15 Days, Sikkim Darjeeling Bhutan Tour Package after Morning breakfast you will be transferred to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) – Nearly 130 kilometres 6 ½ – 7 hours drive – Forwarding Journey.
