Itinerary

Day 01: Darjeeling Via Mirik

Our representative will be there to receive the Guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction).SetMyTrip’s Executive will assist the guests to proceed to Darjeeling via Mirik– Nearly 115 Kilometers, 6 ½ – 7 Hours – On the way, you can explore several mesmerizing tea gardens, breathtaking view points, small yet beautiful villages and Indo-Nepal with viewing point. Darjeeling is situated at a height of 2123 meters / 70001 feet – It is a land of breathtaking beauty, sloping tea gardens with spectacular views of Mount Everest is the Queen of the hills – Darjeeling is home to many international Schools and a few of the internationally famous site like HOn the way, you can explore several mesmerizing tea gardens, breathtaking view points, small yet beautiful villages and Indo-Nepal with viewing point.imalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, etc – It is also home to the famous World Heritage train – The Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR) – Check into hotel – Evening free. Day 02: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Early morning at around 3:45 AM drive to 8000 feet / 2440 meters through primitive forests of oak, magnolia to Tiger Hill to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather) – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop – On the way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Peace memorial & Batasia Loop – Back to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast the next round of sightseeing – Half Day city tour includes Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Ropeway, Tensing Gumpo Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (Closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (Sunday Closed), Peace Pagoda – Back to hotel – Evening free to stroll around the area. Day 03- Darjeeling-Gangtok via Melli (River Rafting)

Today morning, after breakfast, we check out of the hotel and head for an enjoyable activity ahead. We drive for about two hours downhill and arrive Melli. We stop on the banks of river Teesta from where our representatives shall guide you to your raft and after short instructions from our raft expert, we shall board into the raft and experience the thrill of the river rafting in white waters. We raft for about one to one and half hour and finally board off at a put out point about 13 Kms down the river. After this enjoyable ride, we get back to the vehicle and head for lunch at Chittrey. After lunch, we take a leisure drive uphill again for another 2.5 hour and reach our hotel at Gangtok. This evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 04 : Trip to Changu Lake and Baba Mandir

After having breakfast. Start full day excursion trip to Tshangu Lake ( 12400ft) .Which is only 32km from Gangtok city & visit Baba Mandir [Nathula Pass–Optional-Rs 500/Head Extra] .Evening free for shopping. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Day 05 : Gangtok to Lachen, 130kms in 7hrs

Morning drive to Lachen in North Sikkim(Alt 9175Ft / 2750M). On the way visit Singhik, Seven Sister Waterfalls, Chungthang Confluence. Lunch at a local restaurant on the way. Check in at local Guest house or hotel. Free evening and Overnight at Lachen

Day 06 : Gurudongmar Lake Excursion Via Thangu Village | Lachung Transfer

Early morning drive to Thangu Village (Alt 13625Ft / 4100M),a remote high altitude village of Tibetan Nomads and also proceed further to Gurudongmar Lake (Alt 17375Ft /5225M) close to Tibet Border, the one of the Highest and biggest fresh water lakes in Sikkim. Back to Lachen for Lunch. [Optional–Kalapathar+Chopta Valley-Rs 3500/Vehicle Extra] . Lachen to Lachung, 50kms in 2.5hrs – Check out from Lachen and drive further to Lachung (Alt 8075Ft / 2425M) via Chungthang. En route visit Chungthang Confluence and Water Falls. Check in hotel. Free evening. Overnight at Lachung

Day 07 : Yumthang Valley Excursion | Gangtok Transfer

Early morning drive to Yumthang Valley (Alt 11925Ft / 3575M), an Alpine flower valley in North Sikkim. Enjoy the scenic landscape and Hot spring and drive back to Lachung for Lunch. [Optional-Zero Point-Rs 3500/Vehicle Extra] . Lachung to Gangtok, 125kms in 5hrs – Check out from Lachung and drive back to Gangtok (Alt 5550Ft/1675M) via Chungthang. Check in hotel by late afternoon. Free evening. Overnight at Gangtok,

Day 08 : Gangtok to Ravangla | Pelling Transfer

After breakfast transfer to Pelling via Ravangla. Enroute visit Buddha Park,also known as Tathagata Tsal,which is situated near Rabong (Ravangla) in South Sikkim district.It features a 130-foot (40 m) high statue of the Buddha as its centerpiece.The site was chosen within the larger religious complex of the Rabong Gompa (Monastery),which is itself a centuries-old place of pilgrimage.it is surrounded by lush green gardens, peaceful surroundings, and it has an ample walkway for the visitors.From here, you can witness an uninterrupted view of the mountains and also the Cho Djo Lake. This site is of great spiritual importance and the ambience adds a divine experience to the visitors. Nearby the park, there are also meditation centre, museum, and the Buddhist conclave.Also nearby is Ralang Monastery, a key monastery in Tibetan Buddhism.Visit Temi Tea Garden. Transfer from Ravangla to Pelling. Overnight Stay at Pelling

Day 09: Pelling Full Day Sightseeing

After breakfast at hotel – Drive for Full Day Sightseeing of Pelling and its surroundings – The routes are forested and the botanical and zoological richness is inspiring – Places of visit are Rimbi water Falls, Rimbi Rock Garden, Khecheopalri Lake, it is one of the holy Buddhist lake and it is believed that any wish in front of the lake comes true – Myth is that when a leaf falls on the placid clear water surface, it is picked by a bird and thus the water surface is always free of leaves, Khecheopalri Monastery, Kanchenjunga Waterfalls, Pemayangtse Monastery, Rabdentse ruins, the scenic view from the top of the ruin to the mystic heights of Kanchendzonga ranges is something to be cherished – Back to hotel – Evening free to roam around the helipad or Shopping center – Overnight stay at Pelling

Day 101: Departure – Pelling to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction)

Morning breakfast – After breakfast transfer to Siliguri / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) – Nearly 155 kilometers 6 ½ – 7 hours drive – Forwarding Journey
