Itinerary

Day 1: Jammu to Patnitop

• Travel from Jammu to Patnitop (approx. 3.5-4 hours).

• Enjoy scenic views at Nathatop, Madhatop, and Sanasar.

• Visit the Naag Temple and take a nature walk in Pine forests.

Day 2: Patnitop to Pahalgam

• Drive to Pahalgam (approx. 6-7 hours).

• En route, stop at Batote, Ramban, and the saffron fields of Pampore.

• Check-in and relax amidst the Lidder River surroundings.

Day 3: Pahalgam Sightseeing – Late Afternoon Transfer to Srinagar

• Visit Aru Valley, Betaab Valley, and Chandanwari (can be covered by local taxis).

• Enjoy a pony ride or river rafting (seasonal).

• Late afternoon, drive to Srinagar (approx. 2.5-3 hours).

• Evening Shikara ride on Dal Lake.

Day 4: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar

• Early morning departure to Gulmarg (approx. 2 hours).

• Enjoy the Gondola Ride up to Phase 2 (Apharwat Peak).

• Explore Maharani Temple, St. Mary’s Church, and Strawberry Valley.

• Return to Srinagar by evening.

Day 5: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Srinagar

• Drive to Sonmarg (approx. 2.5 hours).

• Visit Thajiwas Glacier, Zojila Pass (if open), and Zero Point (needs local taxi).

• Return to Srinagar by late evening.

Day 6: Srinagar Local Sightseeing or Excursion to Doodhpathri/Yusmarg

• If staying in Srinagar:

  • Visit Mughal Gardens (Shalimar, Nishat, Chashme Shahi), Hazratbal Shrine, and Shankaracharya Temple.

  • Stroll in Lal Chowk for shopping.

• If opting for an excursion:

  • Doodhpathri: Meadows, streams, and scenic landscapes.

  • Yusmarg: Pine forests, Doodhganga River, and pony rides.

Day 7: Srinagar to Daksum – Sinthan Top Sightseeing

• Drive to Daksum (approx. 3-4 hours via Anantnag).

• Visit Daksum Valley, a hidden gem with lush greenery.

• Continue to Sinthan Top, a high-altitude pass with panoramic views.

• Overnight stay in Daksum.

Day 8: Daksum to Katra via Kokernag & Verinag

• Visit Kokernag Botanical Gardens and Verinag Spring (source of the Jhelum River).

• Scenic drive to Katra (approx. 7-8 hours).

• Rest for the Vaishno Devi trek.

Day 9: Katra – Vaishno Devi Trek

• Early morning trek to Vaishno Devi Bhawan (approx. 12 km one way).

• Optional visit to Bhairon Temple (ropeway available).

• Return to Katra by evening.

Day 10: Katra to Jammu Drop

• Travel back to Jammu (approx. 2 hours).

• Visit Raghunath Temple, Bahu Fort, or local markets if time permits.

• Drop at Jammu railway station/airport.
