Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Guwahati and Transfer to Kaziranga National Park:

Arrive Guwahati In the morning by Flight/Train.On arrival, meet SetMyTrip's representative and get transferred to Kaziranga. Check-in respective Hotel/Resort. Enjoy the Evening Bonfire with cultural programs at the hotel/resort (subject to season). Overnight stay at Kaziranga,Assam.

Day 2: Elephant/Jeep Safari at Kaziranga National Forest and Shillong Transfer:

Early Morning go for an (Optional) Elephant Safari at Kaziranga (on direct payment basis).Return hotel/resort for breakfast. Later drive to Kaziranga Central Range for the Kaziranga Jeep Safari [Complentary] . The Central zone of the Kaziranga National Park is the prime zone for the ecotourism in the Kaziranga forest. The entry gate to the central zone is situated just about two km from the National Highway passing through the village of Kohora. The Kaziranga Jungle Safari offers you some spectacular sighting of the Rhinos grazing or wallowing in the large grassland, a herd of elephants with having the adorable baby elephants to big old elephants in the herd, and many other species of the wild flora and fauna of this tourism zone. Afternoon Check-out of the hotel and drive to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 3 : Shillong-Cherrapunjee-Shillong:

Guwahati After breakfast, check-out of the hotel and depart for Cherrapunjee. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax. Later, proceed for a guided trek to Single Decker Living Root Bridge. Also, visit other attractions like the Ka Khoh Ramhah near India - Bangladesh Border, Eco Park, Mawsmai Cave, Nohkalikai Falls and Seven Sister Falls. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4 : Excursion Trip To Mawlynnong & Back:

After breakfast drive to Mawlynnong Village known as the cleanest village in Asia and the God’s own Garden. On arrival, visit the Living Root Bridge. A little hiking is required to see the magnificent bridge (hiking approx 1 hour). Then visit the balancing rock, a small stone holding a big rock by balancing it on above it and the Tree House (watch tower) made by the local people of the village.Return back to Shillong. Stay overnight at Shillong, Meghalaya.

Day 5 : Shillong Sight Seeing - Guwahati:

After breakfast visit Don Bosco Monument & Ward’s Lake. After that drive to Guwahati (100 kms, 3 hrs). Visit Mawphlang-Elephant falls- Shillong Peak-Smit- Cathedral-Umium Lake.Arrive and check in at hotel. Enroute visit 'Kalakshetra', a place where Assamese history and culture presents through Light and sound show. Return to hotel. Overnight stay will be at Guwahati.

Day 6 : Special Morning Visit to Kamakhya Temple:

Pay early morning visit to the Kamakhya Temple and return to Hotel for breakfast. Check-out of the hotel and transfer to Guwahati Airport for your onward journey taking enchanting memories of Assam and Meghalaya.
